Welcome to our dental office! We appreciate the opportunity to give you the quality professional dental care that you deserve. The following information is provided to help make your phone calls and office visit a more pleasant experience.
We normally see all of our patients on an appointment basis. We ask that you call in advance so that we may reserve a special time for you. We realize your time is valuable and we make every effort to see all of our patients on time. If you are unable to keep an appointment, kindly give us at least 48 hours advance notice. We can reschedule your appointment at a time that is more convenient for you. Patients that cancel appointments with less than 48 hours notice or fail to keep appointments will be subject to a charge of $25 per half hour of scheduled appointment time.
Our office policy is to call the number you gave us, 2 business days prior to your appointment as a friendly reminder. At that time, if we speak to you personally and you confirm the appointment, we are set. If, however, we must leave a message, you need to call us back in order to confirm the scheduled appointment. This way we ensure you have received our message. If we don’t hear from you, we will remove you from the schedule and will put in someone from our waiting list. Your name will then be moved to our waiting list.
FEES, INSURANCE, PAYMENTS
We make every effort to explain your treatment plan and your expected costs. We appreciate and require payment for treatment at the time of your visit. Dental insurance is intended to help you cover most of the cost of your treatment. Most plans include a co-payment and a deductible to be paid directly by the patient. Some expenses may not be covered. If you have dental insurance, we will work with you to ensure you receive the maximum benefits from your plan. If you have questions regarding your coverage, please ask a member of our front office staff and we will assist you in finding the answer.
For two important reasons - safety and patient management - we ask that all parents and siblings remain in the waiting room and NOT enter the treatment area, unless requested by Dr. Rosana or a staff member.
Children respond to dental procedures more favorably when parents or siblings do not influence them. One glance by a child patient into the eye's of an apprehensive parent can turn a routine procedure into a difficult situation for all involved. This is well supported in the research literature and a primary reason why a policy such as ours is virtually universal in dentistry.
For your convenience, please fill out the Patient Information Form and bring it with you (or FAX it to us at 303-471-2985) when you come in for your first appointment.
